Happy Father's Day

We took Dad and Richard on a lunch cruise for Father's Day today. At the marina, we saw this macaw in a tree eating a banana. He said, "Hello!" His name is Taylor and he is 20 years old.

Boarding the yacht for lunch.

We stayed out in the bay for about two hours. The kids got to meet the Captain and even steer!

Hello From Destin

Hello, from Destin, Florida! We are having a great time so far. I promised that I would post pictures so here are a few from the beach. They call this part of the coast the Emerald Coast. It's easy to see why once you get a look at the water. It's so clear and such a beautiful bluish-green color.

Here are the kids enjoying the beach:

Look, Mrs. Amy, SAND! Jack is going to try to bring you some.

Dad was enjoying snorkeling with his ski jet until along came Lauren...

She hopped on his back so he would pull her around, but a big wave came by and scared her. She shoved him under and almost drowned him when water went in his snorkel! HAHA!

Lauren's K Graduation

Lauren graduated from kindergarten this year. She made a lot of friends and had fun in Mrs. Goodwin's class. She only missed one day of school all year. She got the Best Listener award.

She was so glad that Honey and Paw-Paw and Nana and Poppie were able to come to the graduation.

Happy Birthday Jack

Jack had his 4th birthday party at the park. He wanted a Thomas the Train birthday this year. I can't believe my baby is getting so big!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to everyone! Hope you all had a great day. Today started off for me with breakfast in bed and cards from Richard and the kids.

We found this at Sam's. There was a cupcake for each of us and we gave Rebecca the middle cake since it is her first Mother's Day.

Richard bought me TWO dozen red roses!!

He also made dinner for all of us: BBQ ribs, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls with iced sweet tea. YUMMY!!!! Isn't he the best?!?!

Rebecca and her family, Roberta, and Richard's mom and dad all gave me gift certificates to Hobby Lobby. Can't wait to shop!

One BIG Birthday Party

Nicole, Natalie, and Lauren all wanted to have a skating party for their birthdays so we combined all three into one BIG party. They each invited all the girls in their grades.

Nicole's theme was The Cheetah Girls:

Natalie's theme was High School Musical:

Lauren's theme was Tinkerbell:
