Magic Kingdom on the 4th of July

We arrived at our resort early on the fourth of July. We planned to ask if we could park our vehicle and come back later in the day to check in, but they allowed me to go ahead and check in. Then we went to the Magic Kingdom. The girls always want to see Cinderella's Castle first.

There was a stage show in front of Cinderella's castle when we were walking up Main Street.

This is a view of the side of the castle.

This smile on Jack's face made the whole trip worth it! He rode the carrousel about three times. We thought there would be lots of people in the park on the 4th of July, but we were in the park 30 minutes and had already ridden 5 different rides.

Pictures from the "Dreams Come True Parade".

Meeting Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

Inside the Pirates of the Carribean ride. Natalie and I rode it first. Another day, we all rode it.

The Flying Carpets of Aladdin ride.

Fireworks over the castle on the 4th of July. They were BEAUTIFUL!

A picture of the crowd filling Main Street after the fireworks. It didn't get crowded in the park until just before the fireworks because a lot of local people came to see the fireworks.

Disney Hollywood Studios

We went to Disney Hollywood Studios (formerly Disney MGM Studios). One of the kids favorite rides here was Toy Story Midway Mania. You have to wear 3D glasses and you play arcade games against the person riding in the toy box with you. We rode this a couple of times.

We met Buzz and Woody from Toy Story.

We rode on the Backlot Tour and saw props from The Pacifier, The Chronicles of Narnia, Enchanted, Pirates of the Carribean, The Haunted Mansion, Herbie the Lovebug, and lots of others.

Sully and Mike from Monsters Inc.

Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable. Ron gave Lauren a high five and said, "Boo-yah!" Sge said, "Boom, Baby!"

We saw Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, Winnie the Pooh and friends, along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy at Playhouse Disney.

They had a parade and games called Block Party. Nicole, Natalie, and Lauren played Duck, Duck, Goose. Natalie picked Lauren, but Lauren didn't chose Nicole, she chose a little boy instead.

We watched a stage performance of Beauty and the Beast.

We ate at Hollywood and Vine and got advance tickets to see Fantasmic because people usually wait in line at least an hour and a half to see it and some still don't get in. It was a great show with performances, lights, fireworks, characters, etc.

This was the kids outside our building when we were getting ready to go to the Arabian Nights show.

Arabian Nights

We left DisneyWorld one night to go to an Arabian Nights show. We had back stage passes, so we were able to see the horses before the show and the kids all got to sit on one of them. The riders signed their posters.

The meal was delicious and the show was great! The riders stood on the back of the horses while they were running and even did flips and jumped through fire!

Jack was amazed by the whole show! He kept trying to take pictures with his Mickey Mouse phone. When he saw the horse that he got to sit on, he kept saying, "That's MY horse!"
