Let It Snow #4

What happened to global warming?!?!?!?!  Wasn't this weekend supposed to be the first day of Spring?!?!  This is the fourth time that we have had snow this year.  We didn't even realize that it was snowing until we started to leave for church this morning, and it snowed almost all day today.  It didn't accumulate, but it sure was pretty coming down.

What a Concert!

The girls, Roberta, and I went to see Chris & Conrad and Big Daddy Weave in concert Friday night.  (Don't worry, Jack wasn't left out.  He watched a movie with Richard while we were at the concert.)  They are both excellant Christian groups.  Chris & Conrad played first.

Big Daddy Weave played next.

Then they all sang together.  WOW!!!!!!

We all had a great time.

I think Nicole is officially taller than her Aunt Birdie!

Our Little Ballplayer

Lauren had her first softball practice today.  She is LOVING it!

Lauren's Learning

Lauren picks up anything to do with athletics very quickly.  The other day she decided she wanted to learn to ride her bicycle with no training wheels.  Natalie took the training wheels off for her and I helped her ONE time.  Then I let go and she was off!  She does pretty good going straight, but she needs more practice turning.  She is definately our little dare devil.
The same day she learn to ride without training wheels, she also learned to bat.  We took her to get cleats, a bat, and helmet that morning.  She was going to play t-ball this year, but she and a few other girls were moved up to the softball team.  I practiced with her outside and she hit the ball 25 times!  I was surprised that she picked it up so quickly, but I think she was more surprised that I could pitch.  She said, "I didn't know you could play ball!"

Early Easter Pics

A cute baby, a real bunny, and an Aunt with a camera...  what more do you need for some cute pictures?!?!  She didn't have her Easter dress on, but by the time they come to see us again, the rabbits will hopefully be sold.  And yes, in the last picture she is chewing on the bunny!

More Snow

These are some pictures from the second time that it snowed last month.  We hardly ever get snow and to get snow twice within two weeks was AMAZING!  These are the only pictures that I was able to get though because Richard's dad fell and broke his ankle and I took him to the hospital.  :-(  He broke two bones in his ankle and had to have surgery a few days later.  He is able to walk on it some now and we are so thankful.  Richard has been having to pick him up and move him when he needs to get up.  He is definately determined to be independent again!
