Candlelight Service

We had a candlelight service at church last night to pray in the new year. It's always a fun time every year.

Mrs. LaJuan played and we sang a couple of songs to start the service. The kids also sang "This Little Light of Mine".


























Brother Waylon and Richard started by lighting a candle from the candle on the altar and then lit someone else's from theirs. Everyone lit the person's next to them until all the candles were lit. It's a great way to show the kids how the light of Jesus can spread if we each pass it on.






































































After the ceremony, we all enjoyed playing games, eating, and visiting with each other until midnight.
